Winter in Val di Sole: one destination, unlimited possibilities
The Val di Sole d’inverno is a real paradise: there are really many and varied destinations that can attract snow and winter sports lovers in one of the biggest ski area in Europe, nestled among Dolimiti and delimited by two historically famous resorts: Tonale e Madonna di Campiglio.
Our advice:
- Val di Pejois the oldest area of Val di Sole: 20 km of slopes and 7 uphill facilities, surrounded by Stelvio National Park, skiing her is not only exciting but also suggestive. The area is also suitable for expert skiers thanks to the opening of funicolar Pejo 3000 and to the new chair lift Saroden. Pejo is not only ski, is relax too. New Pejo spa center has the aim of enhancing and modernizing a traditional spa center born at the beginning of '900.
- Ponte di Legno – Tonalein another corner of Val di Sole you can find ski area Ponte di Legno-Tonale constituted by 42 slopes, 28 uphill facilities and 2000 metres of difference in altitude. The Queen of theese slopes is the one that, starting from Presena glacier goes down for 11 km to Ponte di Legno: one of the longest in Europe, with the “black” section named Paradiso, ideal for expert skiers. Presena glacier, with its 3000 metres of altitude ensures a long skiing season, from early autumn to late spring.
- Folgarida Marillevathis area there are really many attractions for winter guests: 3 family parks on the snow with entertainers for children; a free timed track on Casina slope for an adrenalinic competition with friends; a ski movie slope for recording your performance and then enjoy the movie; a rich programme of entertainment with exciting excursions, thrilling crossing of Tibetan bridges, ski safari, snow games and much more. In addition to this the ski connection with Campiglio and Pinzolo that will give you the opportunity to ski in one of the biggest ski areas of the Alpine region.
